The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I will injure his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I will really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually famous for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul rather criticized former Joshua's opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Fury - and declined a large bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua declined to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's biggest financial successes, frequently receiving huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and claimed he would derail the long-awaited Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.
"The next fight will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the match is really going ahead.
